Award History
Eva Morris Davison Award
A special trust fund has been established to recognize outstanding achievement. This fund was a donation by George Davison for whom the school was named. The school may name up to four recipients from the graduating Grade 6 class. The students may earn awards in one of two categories:
- Achievement and Citizenship: this award recognizes students on the basis of academic achievement and citizenship qualities.
- Achievement Through Perseverance: This award recognizes that students that have demonstrated academic achievement against diversity.
Dr. Harold T. Storlein Scholarship
This award is to recognize one or two students for making the school and the community a better place through their actions. The student(s) will have demonstrated the qualities of caring, kindness, concern for others, and a positive and supportive attitude. List of recipients.
Sarah Poutanen Memorial Scholarship
This award was established by the George Davison School Council. This award, in memory of a former George Davison Grade 5 students, will be presented annually to the Grade 5 student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. List of recipients.
