Rising Learners | Brand Launch

George Davison School is excited to introduce a new brand identity that reflects the heart of our school community and the values that guide our work every day. 

The new identity, Rising Learners, was developed through conversations and reflection about what makes George Davison School unique. At its core, the concept recognizes that learning is a journey. Arriving with their own strengths, experiences, and goals, each person deserves the opportunity to grow, belong, and succeed. 

The new logo features a rising sun emerging over the horizon. The symbol represents growth, possibility, and the unfolding of potential. Just as the sun rises each day, learners are continually developing their skills, confidence, and understanding. The horizon reflects the opportunities that lie ahead and the belief that every learner can continue to move forward. 

The brand is anchored by three guiding values: 

Belong. Respect. Rise. 

These words reflect the culture George Davison School strives to create each day. Students are encouraged to feel a sense of belonging within the school community, to show respect for themselves and others, and to embrace opportunities for growth and learning. 

The identity also introduces a new colour palette inspired by the natural elements of the logo. Horizon Blue, Evergreen, and Rising Light work together to reflect optimism, stability, connection, and possibility. 

While the logo is new, the values behind it are deeply connected to the history and traditions of George Davison School. The Rising Learners identity provides a shared language to celebrate learning, build relationships, and inspire students to become their best selves.
